Meet Jamie

Jamie Fridley has dedicated his career in public accounting to serving the tax needs of businesses across the country. His tax practice is focused primarily on the technology, construction and real estate industries, as well as on professional services firms in the medical, legal, engineering, architectural, and financial advisor fields.

He also plays a significant role in the firm’s nonprofit tax practice and takes an active role in the firm’s participation in the BDO Alliance USA.

For business clients, Jamie offers tax planning, projections, and preparation, as well as practical business and personal financial advice for privately held business owners, ranging from retirement tax planning and succession planning to 1031 exchanges and reverse exchanges. Clients appreciate his practical, straightforward manner and insightful advice.

Jamie enjoys being part of a diverse group of tax professionals who share his passion for public accounting and helps to nurture the talents and interests of up-and-coming team members. As a Principal, he considers the development of talent in the Tax Department a strategic priority, as REDW focuses on recruiting and building its next generation of leaders.

Professional Qualifications and Memberships

A Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of New Mexico, Jamie chairs the Board of the New Mexico Society of Certified Public Accountants (NMSCPA) and serves on its Finance and Audit Committee. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Trusted Advisor Network (TAN) and is REDW’s liaison to the BDO Alliance USA. As an alumnus of Leadership Albuquerque’s Class of 2009 and a proven leader, Jamie is a role model and mentor for many of the firm’s professionals.

Community Involvement

Jamie is active in the Paradise Hills United Methodist Church, where he serves on the Finance Committee.
