REDW Welcomes Michael Jacobson as Principal

REDW LLC, one of the largest certified public accounting and business consulting firms in the Southwest, is pleased to announce the addition of Michael Jacobson as a Principal in the Firm’s Phoenix office. Michael brings nearly two decades of experience serving commercial clients in the Phoenix market.

“The addition of Michael to our team is both timely and exciting,†said Steve Cogan, REDW’s Managing Principal. “Strategic hires and firm/practice acquisitions are key components of our Firm’s overall strategy for achieving manageable, steady revenue growth and increasing profitability. Michael’s primary role will be to help expand our commercial audit, tax and advisory services practice, further develop our capabilities firm-wide, and demonstrate our commitment to serving the growing needs of our construction and real estate clients.â€

Michael’s career includes 18 years working with national accounting firms such as Deloitte and Moss Adams. He joins us after previously serving as a Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of a Scottsdale-based real estate investment trust, where he built their financial reporting department and was a key contributor to the company’s growth from $400 million to a $1.7 billion in real estate assets over a three-year period.

Michael is a graduate of the Thunderbird School of Global Management, where he received his Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and Finance, Arizona State University, where he obtained a Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Accountancy, and Queen’s University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.
