PEER REVIEW
Our latest independent quality control peer review report can be found here. It is an unqualified (clean) opinion. The AICPA requires peer reviews every three years of the accounting and audit practices related to non-SEC issuers. Our most recent peer review was completed June 2008. In addition to the peer review process, our audit reports are regularly subjected to “desk” reviews by federal agencies and all have met federal audit requirements. REDW is not currently the subject of any disciplinary actions by state regulatory bodies or professional organizations, nor has such action ever been taken against the firm.
As required by AICPA professional standards, REDW’s audit quality control procedures include internal inspections of a representative sample of audit and agreed-upon procedures engagements in non-peer review years. This provides a high level of assurance to us that our audits are consistently performed in accordance with professional standards by all of our team members, and that financial statements are prepared in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. It also facilitates our continual improvement of the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of our audits.
