Outreach Meetings Announced for Revenue Recognition

The Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) and the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) announced a series of outreach meetings to discuss the proposed standards for revenue recognition.  The meetings are scheduled for March, April and May and are intended to give the public an opportunity to discuss the proposals in more depth with the boards. 

Due to the importance of the revenue standards on all companies, the outreach events will be held in the United States, London, Tokyo, Sao Paulo, Brazil and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  An audio recording of the meetings will be posted on both boards’ websites following each event.
