REDW Expands Geographic Reach, Adds On-The-Ground Presence in Southern California

REDWLLC is pleased to announce that Michael Kirschner, CPA, joined the firm as a Senior Manager in the Audit & Consulting Department. Michael represents the first REDW employee to be based in California.

Michael resides in San Diego, CA and joins REDW most recently from Macias Gini & O’Connell, LLP, a regional California-based CPA and business management firm, where he served as senior manager. Previously, he held similar positions at two national firms, McGladrey & Pullen, LLP and Grant Thornton, LLP.

“We’re excited to have Michael join us,” said Ray Ziler, CPA, REDW’s Audit & Consulting Department Chair. “Extending our reach and providing on-the-ground resources in the California market has been on REDW’s business plan for quite some time now and with Michael on the team we’ve just begun laying the foundation,” said Ray.

“With Michael on board, we will we be able to increase the level of interaction with our California tribal and gaming clients and respond to their needs more promptly and cost-effectively,” added Glen Post, CPA, Principal in Audit & Consulting.

Michael specializes in tribal consulting and gaming services. He assists clients on a wide range of issues, including financial statement audits, financial and business analysis, statutory reporting, cash management, budget preparation and review, staff management and internal controls (SOX).
