REDW's Audit and Consulting Department Continues to Add Talent - Welcomes Javier Machuca

REDW LLC is pleased to announce that Javier Machuca has rejoined the team in the Audit and Consulting department, now as a Senior Manager.

Javier returns to the firm with 15 years of auditing experience, working mostly in the governmental sector along with commercial and nonprofit engagements, but mainly large state agency audits.
“We are delighted to welcome Javier Machuca back to our team,” said Ray Ziler, REDW’s Audit and Consulting Department Head. “He brings the right combination of expertise and experience we need to continue to meet the needs of our growing state and local government client base.”

Javier holds a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from New Mexico State University (NMSU). His professional accreditations include Certified Public Accountant licensed to practice in the state of New Mexico and Certified Governmental Financial Manager (CGFM).

Javier is a member of the Association of Governmental Accountants (AGA), American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).

Javier’s professional recognition includes the AGA’s Chapter education award 2010, Gold Chapter award 2009, and Highest overall growth award 2007. His board service includes New Mexico Educators Federal Credit Union on the Supervisory Committee; AGA New Mexico (SF chapter) as Education Chair; and AGA Albuquerque as Community Service Chair.

Consistent with REDW’s commitment to community service, Javier serves as a board consultant for Albuquerque Youth Rugby United and is a YMCA soccer coach.
